SERVICE & REPAIRS
Service to ensure your scales are reliable, accurate, and properly documented.
Installation, maintenance, repair, and load testing for almost every make of scale — from a Lancaster company that has been keeping plants weighing since 1961.

Anyone can replace a part. The question worth asking is why it failed. A load cell that dies twice in a year is rarely a load cell problem — it is water sitting in a junction box, a bad ground, a deck that flexes, or a mount that was never right. Replace the part and you have bought a few months. Find the cause and the failures stop. We have been getting to the bottom of scale failures in central Pennsylvania since 1961, on almost every make and model, not just the brands we sell.
That matters most when a scale is down, because product stops moving — trucks sit at the gate, batches wait, shipments miss their windows. The first job is getting you running. The second is making sure the same fault is not back next quarter. Our service trucks cover Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, Reading, Lebanon, and the surrounding counties, plus northern Maryland, and each one carries certified NIST-traceable test weights, so most calls end with a verified, documented scale rather than a return trip.
Whether you need a truck scale installed, a Periodic Maintenance Agreement, an emergency repair, or 100,000 pounds of certified weights for a crane load test, the process starts with a phone call. Tell us what you weigh and what went wrong, and we will engage with you immediately to address your need with a dependable weighing solution.
An out-of-service scale can cost more than the repair.
Common questions
Do you service scales you didn't sell?
Yes. We repair and calibrate almost every make and model, including brands we do not carry. If a scale can be fixed economically, we fix it. If it cannot, we tell you and quote a replacement.
How fast can you get a technician to my site?
We take pride in our response time. We know that when your scale is down, your business is down. In most cases, we respond same-day or next-day — especially if we know your scale is stopping your production and operational efficiency. For existing clients in good standing, we respond to after-hours emergencies. Our 24/7 line is 877-464-3009.
How much weight can you provide for a crane load test?
We can put up to 100,000 pounds of certified, NIST-traceable test weights on a single test — one of the largest certified weight inventories in Pennsylvania. We deliver the weights, support the test, and can supply certification paperwork for every weight used.
How often should my scale be calibrated?
It depends on how hard the scale works and what regulations apply to it. Legal-for-trade scales have mandated inspection cycles, and quality systems like ISO 9001 set their own intervals. Most industrial scales do well on quarterly to annual service. We will recommend an interval based on your equipment and usage, and a Periodic Maintenance Agreement keeps it on schedule automatically.
